Nice aesthetic combination of sparkling jet-black bladed specularite (var. of Hematite) crystals and sharp glassy quartz crystals on 'Kidney ore' hematite. This specimen was collected in the 1960's when the mine was worked by the British Steel Corporation. It finally closed in 2007.
